General description

"Hi humans, it's me Ella! I'm known as a very intelligent, kind and loving dog. I love the presence of humans, but I'm also able to enjoy my moments of peace and quiet, whether in the house or outside. And, between you and me... I'm a bit of a comedian! When I have to do something I don't feel like doing, I grumble gently. I do it anyway, but I allow myself to grumble a little! My energy is moderate: calm and collected inside, a little more lively outside, especially when I'm playing or exploring.

 Living together

In my foster home, I live with another 8-year-old dog, and I LOVE her! I follow her everywhere and learn a lot from her. We do everything together! Playing, running... a real joy! I do everything just like her. Having a CANINE FRIEND in my future family would fill me with joy. However, small animals like cats are not for me. So it's important for me to be in a family WITHOUT small animals. On the human side, I'm easy-going and love everyone I meet! On one occasion, I met some small children and remained rather indifferent. I prefer it when they respect my bubble, so a family with older children or those used to calm dogs would be better for me.

 Inside

I'm free in the house and I'm a real model of tranquillity. I'm very well-behaved when I'm alone, I don't touch anything and I use the time to rest. I don't bark or make a mess. I sleep all night without moving, comfortably settled on my cushion. I'm housebroken, I hold it easily and I do my business morning and night. I know “sit” and I'm super smart. I learn quickly when someone takes the time to show me.

🦴 I eat when I feel the need and I'm not gluttonous at all. I do NOT do resource protection. I like to chew on a bone now and then. I also have my little quirks: if you mix cane food with my kibble, I'll lick the kibble so I only eat the cane... A real little princess!

 Outdoors

Outdoors, I'm in my element! I roam freely in the forest and never go far. I'm curious, I like to run in the forest, walk on the frozen pond and even dig holes in the snow! I grew up in the wild, so nature makes me feel good. On a leash, I walk well, but if something catches my eye, I can pull a little. I love running with a harness; I could make a great jogging partner!

 Transport and handling 

At first, I was a little afraid of the car, but now I climb in on my own and settle down to sleep. I'm very relaxed during the journey. I'm also easy to handle. I'm gentle and cooperative in all my care.

I'm a GENTLE, AFFECTED dog, a bit comical, but above all very ATTACHING. I would thrive in an active family, ideally with another dog as a playmate. I'm ready to follow my humans on their adventures, whether it's a hike or a nap in the sun!"
