Nishkapu is a mixed-breed puppy, approximately 3 months old, from the Innu community of Ekuanitshit. He lives with his foster family in Lévis, and is the brother of Mishu and Innishu. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

🐕🐈👶Cohabitation
"I live harmoniously with dogs. I'm very sociable with the dogs I meet. I cohabit with a cat and I like to tease him a lot. Given my young age and good temperament, I could live with cats, provided the introduction is done properly. Of course, I sometimes chew, but that's not abnormal given my young age. Living with children is possible for me.
🏡Inside
I spend most of my free time in the house and it goes well. I, Nishkapu, am even free when my humans are away and I do this like a champ. At night, I sleep in a cage and I'm very comfortable there. I take cleanliness for granted at night. When I'm free, I escape once in a while. I'm very young and need to keep learning. But I'm getting better every day. I have a tendency to pee in excitement when I meet new humans. I know the “sit and come” commands, and can learn several more with good treats.
🦴I'm very greedy and have great chewing needs. It's good for my little shark teeth! So I'd like to have access to chewy items throughout the day. I do NOT do resource protection.
🌳Outdoors
I go outside on a lead. When my canine companion isn't with me, I don't try to venture very far. On the other hand, if I go into a large space on the longe, I like to venture out at my own pace and feel everything.
🚗Transport and handling
Car rides are pleasant. I keep to myself in the back seat. I tolerate handling extremely well, whether it's clipping claws or bathing. I, Nishkapu, love baths SO much that I may even join you in the shower.
