Our magnificent survivor is a mixed-breed male, approximately 4 years old and weighing 41 kg. He comes from the Naskapi community of Kawawachikamach and currently resides at Ranch Canin Manitou in Sainte-Thècle. He is vaccinated, microchipped, sterilized and dewormed.
General description
"Hello, I'm Koda. I'm a dog who LOVES the company of humans ! I find comfort with them and I prefer to be close to them. I am looking for a PATIENT and LOVING family who will give me a calm and soothing living environment to flourish.
Outside
Outside is my favorite place! I LOVE walking in the forest, smelling all the scents and being free! Don't worry, walking on a leash is also fine and I do NOT pull. I even wait for my human if necessary, I'm a good dog! I would love to have access to a large FENCED LAND where I could run and have fun. This would definitely be the ideal place for me. Besides, I would love to live in a forest, wooded, agricultural type environment, you know what I mean!
Inside
In my pen at the ranch, I vocalize and let out a few little howls when I see a human, but very gently , to let them know that I am there. What do you want, I love their presence! I would also like my future humans to have a big presence at home so that I can show them all my love!
Cohabitation
I said it, I looooove humans and I LOVE MY LIFE! I love and need contact with bipeds. I actually prefer them to canine friends. As for children, I have already had some without any problems in my first family. However, I would prefer them to be older than 10 years old, because I prefer a calmer environment and I am rather large, so I could be clumsy with very young children.
As for other animals, well I have to say that I am looking for a family where I will be the only "4 legs" of the household. That way, I will have all the love of my humans just for ME! Isn't that wonderful?
In conclusion, I am a dog with a rather 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗘 temperament who has a lot of LOVE to give and who only asks to receive it in return. I need a 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘, 𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗧 living environment that will allow me to find my bearings in this new life that is offered to me. I am looking for 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗘𝗦, 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦, 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗦 𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 who will have time to dedicate to me and who will use positive reinforcement methods to continue my education.
